Time to Go Back!

It's that time again! Time for SCHOOL! As a teacher, I dreaded the end of summer. But... as a Momma, I must admit it is a little exciting to think of a couple hours a day to myself.  Mya will be going to Messiah Lutheran Preschool 3 days a week and the High School Child Development Preschool 2 days a week! That means I get 5 mornings free! Well, I'll have the Duke, but for now he is still taking a morning and afternoon nap! So, I can clean, organize, and maybe enjoy The View once in awhile! ;-)

Mya couldn't have been more excited to start preschool! She was up early and eager to get to school! I'm sure knowing her little friend, Kylie, is in her class helps!

I am so annoyed with myself... I'm pretty sure there is no hyphen in preschool! Ugh! Oh well.
The chalkboard is such a cute idea...too bad 450,000 other moms got the idea from Pinterest too!

What's the Duke to do without Sissy around???

Mya was ALL smiles as she went into her classroom! What a relief for Mommy!

Mya with one of her teachers, Mrs. Lindquist! She's been there a long time.  She even had one of the Moms as a preschooler! WOWSERS...she LOVES kids! She's the assistant teacher.

In the afternoon of the first day of school, I got this email from Mya's teacher, Mrs. Voska.  She has quite the reputation for being an amazing teacher! I would say any teacher that takes the time to take a picture AND email the parent after class is pretty dedicated.  Here's her email to Kylie's Mommy and me.  How sweet is she???

Hi Mrs. Lenz and Mrs. Wiegman,

The girls played most of the time together. Our dolls were given much love. I thought they both had a great day!

See you all on Friday!
