Christmas in April

With the Christmas mini-session yesterday and the snow flurries this morning, it sure feels like Christmas!!! My friend, Jen, asked me to take a few pictures of her little China doll, Aubrey yesterday. It wasn't the usual spring pictures taken in April. Instead, it was a re-do of her wearing the Christmas dress given to her by her mother-in-law per her mother-in-law's request!

And, that's a wrap! Get me out of this horrible Christmas dress!

Well, Hello!

It's been a long while since I've blogged. I just haven't been feeling it. But, now that it's nice out (sort of), I feel like there are more picture-worthy events.  So, I dusted off the ole' Canon and took some pictures of our visit to Ft. Sheridan in Highland Park.  We were hoping for some warmer weather, but we had a great time regardless. We can't wait to revisit when it's much warmer! The old military base is absolutely gorgeous.  As we walked along the beach we ALMOST forgot we were in Chicago. But, then the wind blew us right back into REALITY!

Hilarious moment.... This puppy came out of no where and LOVED Luke! He wouldn't stop jumping on him!




The kids could've thrown rocks into the lake all day! So much fun!
