We were given the BEST Christmas gift this year, Mya Isabelle! What a blessing it was to spend Christmas 2008 with our little angel. We spent Christmas Eve at Auntie Andra and Uncle Steve's house. Mimi Rey and Papa Rick were there too! We ate lots of great food and reminisced about our favorite Christmas memories. Then, we headed home to wait for our very first visit from Santa Claus!

We had a very busy Christmas! We first opened up our stockings at home, then headed to Aunt Sue and Uncle Woody's house, and ended the day at Auntie Andra and Uncle Steve's. All the holiday celebration was a bit much for Miss Mya... with a major meltdown at the Veneris family Christmas party and a 4 hour nap at Auntie Andra's house. She missed all of the opening of gifts, but had special little elves (Carly, Brady, and Tyler) that helped open her gifts for her.

Mya had a great time bonding with her little cousin Q. He was all about holding her hand... it was SO cute!
