Sleeping beauty begins to awaken! Wait a second... something isn't quite right!
Mommy, look at me.... I'm stuck in my bassinet!What's the best invention ever for baby mommas? Video monitors! How have I gone 2 months without using these? Being able to see the baby without opening the door every 15 minutes to check her breathing, check the blankets, check the temperature, check to see if she was indeed sleeping while in the process waking her up! Now, I sit and watch the monitor like its the greatest show on TV! Who knew a sleeping baby could be so entertaining!
On the topic of sleeping, it was a big day in the Wiegman house today.... I figured it's about time that Mya leaves the nest and sleeps in her own room! The deciding factor was when Mya woke up every hour last night because her head was stuck in the side of the bassinet! The poor little thing, she was stuck and couldn't get out (see the picture- don't mind the yellow stain... I really do wash my baby's sheets... she just spits up on it)! I think this decision was much harder on me than on her. Although I have made myself believe that this would be the hardest transition for her yet! So far so good... she doesn't seem to mind her crib one bit! We will see how the night goes. Daddy is happy because he finally gets to sleep in his own bed.... 2 months of Mommy and Baby sleeping in his room, while he is in the twin bed in the office! Sacrifices of a parent! We will see who gets a good night sleep tonight! Wish us luck!

This is great! I love your blog and I love being able to see Mya and hear about the Wiegmans despite the distance between us; are you going to keep posting daily? I request a new posting by about 6am so I can enjoy the news over my breakfast. :)
