This has been a long, rough week for me, so it was much needed to have a fun family day. Matt and I decided it would be fun to take Mya to Adler Planetarium for "One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure! She was SO excited to see Big Bird and Elmo! Unfortunately, when we arrived at 10:21, they refused to let us into the 10:20 show! Much to Mya's disappointment, we had to make alternate plans. We decided to head to the Science and Industry museum and spend some time exploring the exhibits. I haven't been to the museum in years and wasn't disappointed! There were so many great things to see! (By the way, teacher friends.... teachers K-12, get in for FREE!)

After the museum, we headed to Greektown for a yummy lunch!
We finished off our fun day with ice cream! Daddy and Mya share a spoonful of vanilla/chocolate swirl!
